Description
During a snow storm in Banff National Park I laid in a field and waited for this group of elk to slowly graze my way. I was astounded when they got within a few feet of me. This fine fellow is missing an upper tine on his right side from battles within this adolescent herd. He will soon lose his antlers and they will grow back bigger and stronger for another shot at the title. There is nothing better than shooting wildlife with a wide lens. It makes you one with their environment.
